Krishna Story 1 about How did Vasudeva take Shri Krishna to Gokul in such a torrential downpour?

In the last Krishna story, I talked about why Kansa killed Devaki’s six unborn children.

Krishna Story 1: An incarnation of Lord Krishna

Vasudevji had other wives, too. She left Mathura for fear of Kansa and went to another place. Shri Nandji was a friend of Vasudev Ji. He was the king of the Gopala’s and lived in Gokul on the other bank of the Yamuna, opposite Mathura. When Rohini, one of Vasudevji’s wives, became pregnant, she left Mathura, and Nandji stayed in Gokul.

When Devkiji had her seventh child, God said to her Yogamaya, “Sankarshanji is now in the womb of Devaki Mata.” You should deliver it to the womb of Rohini. After that, I’ll return to see Devakiji.”And you manifest as the daughter of Nandji’s wife, Yashodaji.”

Yogamaya delivered Devkiji’s womb to Rohiniji’s womb at God’s command.Rohiniji’s womb also got mixed up in it. Shri Balramji stepped out of it.In Mathura, it was believed that Devkiji miscarried her seventh child. After that, when Lord Devaki Mata Himself was about to appear from the womb of Devaki Mata, there was a wonderful radiance on Devaki Mata’s face. No one could even look at him. Knowing about the eighth womb, Kansa closed the prison and kept very strong guards there.

God appeared before Vasudeva-Devakaji in Kansa’s prison at midnight on the eighth of Krishnapaksha in the month of Bhadrava. The colour of the Lord’s body was a beautiful dark blue, like an indigo lotus. He was wearing a bright, lightning-like robe. He had four arms, and in them were the conch, chakra, mace, and padma. The Lord was wearing jewelled crown coils, bangles, baju-bandhs, etc., and so much light was emanating from His body that the whole prison was illuminated.

Vasudev and Devakiji praised the Lord. Mata Devaki prayed to God, “Hide your quadruped form.” Kansa will come running here upon hearing about your avatar. Kansa scares me a lot.

God hid his quadrupedal form and became a small child. God had told Vasudeva that you should take me to Gokula and bring Yashodaji’s daughter from there. Obeying God’s command, Vasudevji kept him on a table. By the grace of God, Vasudevji’s handcuffs and leg shackles were opened on their own. All the doors also opened by themselves, and all the wearers fell into a deep sleep.

At that time, the lightning was flashing. It was raining heavily. When Vasudevji escaped from the prison, Seshnagji followed him silently, spread his thousand fangs, and formed a canopy over Lord Shri Krishna and Vasudev Ji, beginning to protect them for years. The train came to Yamunaji. But for Vasudev Ji, Yamunaji became so low that the water went below his knees.

When Vasudevji reached Gokul, people there were sleeping in deep sleep due to God’s mercy. At the same time, Yashodaji also had a daughter. But it was God’s will that Yashodaji fell asleep. He didn’t even know if it was a daughter or a son. Vasudevji went straight to Nandji’s house. He picked up Yashodaji’s soon-to-be-born baby girl, placed Lord Shri Krishna there, and returned to Mathura.

As soon as Vasudevji entered the jail, the doors were automatically closed again. Vasudevji wore handcuffs and shackles. At the same time, the baby girl that Gokul had brought began to cry. Hearing his cry, the wearers fell asleep. They ran to Kansa and informed him that Devaki had borne a child. Kansa was scared, waiting for Devaki to have a son. He could not sleep. As soon as he got the news, he took a sword and ran there barefoot.
Seeing Kansa coming, Devi hid the girl in her lap. Crying, Devkin prayed to Kansa, “Brother! This is the daughter. “You shall not take his life.”

Papi Kansa threatened Devakiji and started thrashing her daughter, holding her legs and hitting her with a stone. But she was no ordinary child. It was Yogamaya. She escaped from the hands of Kansa and walked into the sky. There he assumed an octagonal form and said to me, “Wicked Kansa! You have been born to kill. Don’t hurt innocent people anymore.

Tejomayi Ashtabhuja Devi disappeared after saying this to Kansa. Kansa was very afraid and saddened to hear him. He thought that I killed the children of Vasudeva-Devi in vain. He released his son-in-law Vasudev and sister Devkiji from their bonds.

He apologised for his crime, and Kansa sent him home. As soon as he returned from prison, Kansa summoned his demon ministers and told them about Ashtabhuja Devi.

The demonic ministers of Kansa were also very wicked and murderous. They advised Kansa to kill all the children born here in ten to fifteen days. Who ordered the demons Putana, Shaktasur, Vyomasur, etc. to return and kill the children?
