Life is easier when you give love to others; it is not just a quote but reality. If you see deep in the sea, you will be able to detect how they are slightly less positive and radiant when one does not believe in philanthropy.Santram Mandir: Where my soul feels peaceful
You will be unable to live without giving love to others.
Now, generosity is not just about donating money. Some individuals do not have the power of money, but their hearts are so open that their energy stays.
Some spread knowledge, some give love, and others help them by building shelter. Doing good to other people without expecting anything in return is hard. Still, once you start doing that, nothing else will bring peace to your life.
Doing things for people will become part of your life, and you will be unable to live without giving love to others.
You might think what will this bring?
Why will it bring some peace?
It will because peace does not come when your mind is roaming from here and there. When you expect too much, you are bound to get a reaction that will not satisfy you. We have to accept that expectations and promises will not lead to peace at all, let alone be salvation.
Peace is needed to reach salvation
Like you, I am a human being but was reluctant to find my higher self. I read and read, finally found out that peace is needed to reach salvation, and even if not, I wanted a calmness in my life.
From the rush of timelines, work, and responsibilities, doing a few things for others where you do not have to expect anything from the other person turned out to be more than peaceful for me.
Santram Mandir is where I go every day to sit and feel the warmth of calmness under the shelter I love. Every afternoon I go there to do some sewa. Whatever I find, from cleaning the place a bit to serving the Prashad to even playing with kids I have never met with a smile on my place.
This place that gives me peace is Avadhoot Yogiraj Shree Santram Maharaj and disciple Laxmandas Maharaj, Santram Mandir. 192 years back, he took Jeevan Samadhi.
We have never met them
There are some individuals, mortal or even mythological immortal beings, that we connect to. We have never met them. All we have heard are stories and proceedings written in scriptures or papers.
We fall and believe in the history of it. We go deep and understand how one person told us that resolves our problems every time.
You must have that one book that will give answers to every question. You feel some depth and sight of understanding while being in the presence of a piece he wrote.
Lord Krishna on the Kurukshetra, The Bhagwat Geeta.
Lord Krishna, on the Kurukshetra, gave Arjuna quality advice, and many people think that that advice still fits in our world filled with rush and technologies. The Bhagwat Geeta tells how everyone has some or other imperfection in them.
When I’m under the shelter of that temple, everything feels surreal. My worries do not get washed away, it will never go like that until I try to solve them, but this place gives me strength.
The positive energy that we need to succeed, the motivation one needs, and that one very needed push is something I get when I’m in the surroundings of this temple. I feel connected to him even though he is not here.
His presence is here, making all the devotees feel calm. I come here every day not as a part of routine but because this is a place I worship, and this is the space where I can clear my mind of all the conflicts.
The world out there is filled with both positive and negative energies. To be honest, we get attracted to negative ones more strongly. Then it gets complicated to get detached from those negative energies.
Lord Krishna on the Kurukshetra gave Arjuna quality advice.
Things that are worth having the courage and an open heart. Before stepping into this space, I felt like conflict was something I would always have in my life. I felt that being gloomy was just my nature, but nothing of it was true, not even a bit.
I realized my worth and what this heavenly body could do. I started serving people, and every day, I learned something or other with each passing day and Got to the conclusion that my life would not have been this good or relatively warm if I would not have come here.
His presence is something I feel at every corner of this space, and it tells me that I can do everything I want to. Maybe, just maybe, this was my calling from life to improve me. I believe in hopes and blessings. Here I get to have both. These two things are significant in life.
The whole life is as round as earth, and whatever you will provide to this society, close ones and strangers are precisely what will come in return. Today or tomorrow, you will feel that pain or even happiness you gave to someone.
He pushed me to be a better person, and there are many people like me here, and I welcome every new individual that comes under this warm roof in search of things to come.
Nature is a gift of God
Nature is a gift of God, and it is our perspective on how we perceive and appreciate it. From Wordsworth to John Keats, there have been poems dedicated to nature, and I used to read them when I was in school.
The first thought was, why? But then my interest grew, and sunrise seemed like the best part of my life. My habit of loving mornings never went downhill. A tree started growing when I was very little, and till the time I reached my teenage years, it started blooming with flowers.
Teenage hormones are weird, and I fell in love with the most beautiful girl in my class. When everyone was giving her red roses, I gave her the fresh lime-yellow flower petals that used to come on my terrace every morning. Before my mother could sweep them off, I took them. Of course, I was trying to be as romantic as Keats there, but I was not, and she did not understand the concept behind it;
I wanted to tell her that when the sun was reddish-yellow, and there was a light breeze with small dews on the petals everywhere, I thought about you and loving you. Mornings became my best friend over the years.
It does not matter if it is cold or hot; I still wake up and take my cup of coffee to drink on my terrace with all those flower petals and smile at chirping birds. Nature gives us back when we value it;
Mother Earth doesn’t let its child live in vain when she knows he loves her. Never in my life have I felt alone, whether I’m standing by myself waiting for the bus or waking up independently from a night of sweet sleep. Every morning sun makes me determined for life.
